eFIRST process is Plexus' flagship product - a powerful suite of tools enabling the rapid development, deployment and management of scalable process management solutions for the enterprise. It is particularly suited to large, high transaction business environments. eFIRST process consists of seven integrated modules:

The core of the eFIRST Process is the Process Engine based on Plexus' tried and tested FloWare product combined with a new process mapping and modelling tool - Process Analyzer. Featuring flow charting, process mapping, simulation, and "what-if?" analysis, the Process Analyzer enables business managers to model their business processes, investigate how to make more effective use of people and resources, and reduce their cycle-time and costs.

To accelerate the construction of any Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, eFIRST process provides the Process Builder. This is a J2EE compliant configuration framework that enables rapid building of user interfaces, forms and data objects to be managed within the solution application.

As businesses evolve so do their processes and Process Monitor provides business activity monitoring with both a visual and interactive interface. Managers can therefore identify and respond to emerging problems and use alarm functions to monitor critical process thresholds. Process Monitor is a powerful tool for technical and non-technical manager to improve organization efficiency.

Plexus has long recognized the need for separating business decision logic from application processing and therefore provides the Process Decision module. Allowing business logic change without disrupting work-in-progress or incurring the risks of modifying applications Process Decision gives impressive flexibility to respond to change.

Process reporting is provided by Process Intelligence, a comprehensive business intelligence tool. Configurable web-based management dashboards allow activity and operations monitoring across the enterprise.

The ability of BPM to connect processes to applications is key to its value and Process Integrator delivers a high quality integration model. It is able to "process enable" a large range of legacy and packaged applications to provide straight through business processing.
